Nicolas Party- Pastel In this exhibition, Nicolas Party was the curator and also the artist of several of its pieces. It is an astonishing work to combine 300 year old pieces made in pastel adding a very fresh and new look to it. The pastels from the eighteen century mix and combine with rococo inspired murals painted directly into the wall and composed with hanging pieces overlapping but integrate at the same time. The whole exhibition, expanding across 2 floors, works in favor of the pastel, the light and the color of the walls to draw to our attention every single detail that the curator put into working with the pieces, even the architecture of the space itself.

The Hass Brothers- Madonna
The Hass Brothers produce large elaborate pieces created from experimental and traditional craft techniques made with collaborative artmaking from different country’s such as Portugal, South Africa and a studio in California. They are best known for their furniture and sculptural functional objects but now present this body of work with its limitlessness imagination and innovation. The material used range from stone, porcelain, brass, bronze, self invented resin and intricate bead work. They evoke abstract and figurative visual vocabulary creating a otherworldly realm, where fantastical animals and odd hybrids live together.
